Mechatronic Systems Engineering
Undergraduate Program Overview
Offered only at SFU Surrey, Mechatronic Systems Engineering is a multidisciplinary engineering program that uniquely integrates mechanical, electronics, control, software, and computer engineering for the development of electromechanical products and systems. These systems are used in a range of industries including automotive, manufacturing, robotics, biomedical, service, aerospace, consumer electronics, and countless others.
Upon completion of their degree MSE graduates will have:
- A strong foundation in science and focus in mechanical, electronics, control, software, and computer engineering
- A minimum of one year of related industry work experience through participation in the Engineering Science Co-op Program
- Enhanced oral and written communication skills through our exclusive Technical Communication Program
- Entrepreneurial skill and a command of the newest technologies
