To: Prerequisites: CMPT 354. Students who have take CMPT 474 may not take this course for further credit.

Rationale: Little material from CMPT 371 (Data Communications and Networking) is used directly in CMPT 470. The material that is required can be quickly introduced as necessary. Removal of the prerequisite will make the course more accessible to students.

CMPT 474 was introduced as part of the Software Systems program and covers similar material.
